Saturday, April 17

Sleeping in just a little bit was nice today.  Hershey (all 65 pounds of chocolate lab) came and jumped on me licking my face, so I guess she thought it was time to get up.  Lots and lots of things to do around the house today.  Chuck is working on our dryer.  The thing must be a hundred years old - actually is was manufactured in 1981!!!  Anyway he is replacing the blower wheel this morning.  I went to Skent and Dent at the last minute to get the part.  I think he has everything almost back together.  I have things to take care of before Cash makes his entrance into the world.  We are thinking that will be in another 2 weeks or so.  Kandi will find out more when she goes to the doctor next Thursday.

Tomorrow is the Special Olympics state cycling tournament at Chennault Park in Monroe.  Then they will have the pizza party and dance.  Monday is the State Golf tournament.  Klint and Matthew (also from Klint's group home) will play in it.  Klint loves the golf tournament.  One year he went to the National Golf tournament in Florida with his Daddy.  I think that was September 2002.  It was Klint's first plane ride.  They had a great time.  Klint and Kasey shared a condo with Bill and Susan Bales.  At that time, Susan was the state director for all the games. They had not had very much experience with Prader-Willi.  Bill had an entire package of cinnamon rolls he was going to have for breakfast for the couple of days they were there.  Well of course during the night Klint ate all of them at one time.  The next morning Kasey asked Klint if he ate Bill's cinnamon roll.  Klint said, "Yes I did.  He'll get over it!!"  What a response, but an expected one.  He always has something he thinks is cute to say!!!!!

I guess I should go.  The dryer is finished and the next activity is going to Eyemasters to get some new glasses.  I will need them before I go stay with Kandi and Clint when Cash arrives.

Later, Cindy
